A leading building simulation consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Sustainability Consultant to join their growing team. You'll be working alongside some of the country's top modellers, responsible for running complex building energy simulations across high-profile projects in the healthcare, commercial and educational sectors.
You'll meet with clients to establish project requirements, model building and mechanical system design alternatives, and advise clients on simulation results. There is a strong culture of career development, encouragement and support within a close-knit team of specialists.
Key requirements include a degree in a relevant discipline, proven experience with IES Virtual Environment, and a strong working knowledge of UK building regulations Part L. Experience modelling common UK building types including healthcare, commercial and educational is essential.
Desirable experience includes knowledge of HVAC systems, BREEAM, NABERS, LEED, ASHRAE 90.1, Passivhaus and daylight modelling (CBDM/Glare). An interest in decarbonisation and net zero strategies is highly valued.
