The Opportunity
A leading global consultancy with a large and well-established ecology team is seeking a Senior Ecologist to join their Bristol office. You will work within a collaborative and supportive team on a varied portfolio of infrastructure and development projects.
The Role
- Undertake UKHab habitat surveys and protected species surveys across a range of project types
- Contribute to Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEAs) and Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIAs)
- Prepare and support EPS licence applications
- Contribute to HRAs and EIA biodiversity chapters
- Mentor and support junior colleagues within the team
About You
- Degree in Ecology or a related environmental discipline
- Solid experience in ecological consultancy at Senior level
- Proficiency in UKHab classification
- CIEEM membership — required
- Full UK driving licence
