The Opportunity
A leading UK renewable energy developer is looking for an Offshore Consents & Environment Manager to take ownership of the consenting and environmental management processes across their offshore wind development portfolio. This is a client-side role offering significant influence and variety.
The Role
- Lead DCO applications and Marine Licence submissions for offshore wind projects
- Own and manage the EIA process from scoping through to examination
- Manage relationships with statutory consultees, regulators and local authorities
- Coordinate environmental survey programmes and data management
- Provide environmental input into project design and risk management
- Floating wind project experience would be a strong advantage
About You
- Degree in Environmental Science, Planning or a related discipline
- Demonstrable experience managing consenting processes for offshore energy projects
- Strong understanding of DCO, MCAA Marine Licensing and Habitats Regulations
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
