The Opportunity
A global sustainability consultancy with one of the largest ecology teams in the UK — over 200 ecologists — is actively growing across the South West, Midlands and Wales. Roles are available at multiple levels from Senior Ecologist through to Principal and Associate, with flexible hybrid working on offer.
The Roles
Depending on level, you will be involved in some or all of the following:
- Ecological surveys and assessments including UKHab, protected species and habitats
- EcIAs, PEAs, HRAs and EIA biodiversity chapters
- Specialist survey work including ornithology, bat surveys and botanical surveys
- Protected species licensing (EPS licences)
- Team leadership, mentoring and client relationship management (Principal/Associate levels)
About You
- Degree in Ecology or a related environmental discipline
- CIEEM membership (or working towards) appropriate to level
- Experience in ecological consultancy — level of experience varies by grade
- Full UK driving licence
